Birth Memories Last a Lifetime
Hi, I'm Cathy Coe, a certified birth doula with DONA International. Birth is one of the most precious moments of our lives. Since birth memories do last a lifetime, I believe it is extremely important to do the best I can to make sure your memories are pleasant ones. A doula's role is vital (and more deeply understood after the birth is complete) to this respect, she becomes the wall to lean on, the rock to stand on, the presence that doesn't go away!
Personal Profile:
I've been married for 25 years to my husband Timothy.
We have 10 children, of one marriage, ages 2 - 24 (2 hospital births, 8 homebirths)
We've resided in Washington state since 1977
I serve the entire inner Puget Sound Region (fees vary by geographical location)
My Doula Service includes:
* A minimum of 3 home prenatal visits
* Email and Phone consultations
* Maternal Nutrition consultation "very important!"
* Labor, Birth, and Immediate Postpartum Support
* Minimum 1 Postpartum visit
* Baby Massage Instruction
* References available

My Belief About Birth:

"A doula is a servant involved in the birthing of life...
"I am a servant of the King of kings...
"He is the giver of all life, all breath, and all things.
To be permitted to serve those who are laboring to bring forth their children, has been a great joy in my life. I've found it to be one of the highest honors I (as a birth doula) can receive.
